01What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies such as pixels and local storage are covered by this policy too.
02The cookies we use
| Type | What they do | Your choice |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keep the site secure, keep you signed in, remember your basket and your cookie choices, detect faults and prevent fraud. | Always on |
| Analytics | First-party statistics about how the website is used (for example, popular pages), collected in aggregate to improve the site. Not used for advertising or shared with advertisers. | On by default; switch off at any time in Your Privacy Choices |
| Functional | Remember preferences such as region or display settings. | On by default; switch off at any time |
| Marketing | Measure and personalise our adverts on other websites. | Off unless you opt in |
[Insert a full table listing each cookie name, provider, purpose and duration.]
We set analytics and functional cookies without asking first only where they meet the conditions of the exceptions added to PECR by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025. We'll always tell you about them and let you switch them off.
03Your health information
We never place analytics or marketing cookies on pages in your Hub that show results or health information, and we never pass health information to advertising partners.
04Your Privacy Choices
When you first visit, we show a banner where you can accept all, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. You can change your mind at any time:
We treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a refusal of marketing cookies. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop sign-in from working.
05How long cookies last
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies last for a set period, no longer than 13 months, or until you delete them. We ask for your choices again at least every 12 months.
